Colaboration

Do you want to participate in the further development of the mobile application veggeezz?

Development of the application itself is not that hard. Data acquisition for the app is much more onerous. It's actually a never-ending process. Restaurants come and go. They open, move, and close. If the data is not constantly updated, the application as a whole will not be reliable. Try to find, for example, Greek restaurants in Prague on some online maps. You will find that most of them are out of business, some even for more than 10 years. However, the entries on the maps are still present there. That's why we need your cooperation, either in the form of searching for new restaurants and removing invalid entries, or in the form of ratings, and providing information about data errors and changes.

In addition to adding and editing data, we also need another form of cooperation: testing. Even if it's just UX testing - no IT knowledge is required for UX tests. On the contrary, it is often better if the UX test is performed by someone who does not understand IT at all, the "man in the street". We welcome your cooperation in this area. However, we won't be able to program every new feature of the app, every new awesome idea, because veggeezz is a community app, provided for free and (at least for now) without ads. It is not easy in today's world to program new functions for free, without any compensation. Even so, we will try to find some form of reward for the testers - either a smaller payment in the order of a few EUR per hour, or perhaps some vouchers in cooperating restaurants. We don't have another form of financing yet.

The area that requires considerable investment, regardless of the additional work required, is development for iOS, and translation of texts in the user interface or data into other languages. We are therefore looking for translators into various European and non-European languages. We can speak a few languages, but not even all European languages are within the capabilities of an ordinary mortal, let alone the non-European ones.

We want to try crowd-funding soon. We will inform you about further progress in this area on these pages and using other information channels (FB, IG, ...).
